A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR CHANGE
|
Turbulent times inspire us to live differently. Ancient Wisdom Rising introduces a new way of being that is just, sustainable and full of joy and meaning.
This new way is actually not so new. It's the old way, the indigenous way, of living in relationship with the earth and sky, fire and water, plants and animals, family and community.
Once, we were all indigenous. We all lived in relationship with the sacredness alive in the world.
We can again.

Through the wisdom of the ancient traditions, Ancient Wisdom Rising can introduce you to this way of being.
Elders from the world's four directions relate experiences and traditional knowledge in three days of keynote presentations, concurrent sessions, and interactive workshops.
|
Each elder knows how important this knowledge is to these times and our future.
This is powerful work.
To create a safe and grounded container for our time together, we light and consecrate a ritual fire that will burn day and night, tended by initiated Fire Keepers.
Several of our sessions are held around the fire beneath our large fire tent. Others will be held indoors in meeting rooms and theaters.

In addition to each day's scheduled presentations by the elders, there are optional opportunities to experience movement, music, nature walks, council circles and films that embody our relatedness.
And night time is the best time for dancing around the fire.
